New HP Omen gaming laptop unveiled

HP has unveiled its new 17.3-inch Omen laptop, which was designed with performance in mind.

“It’s now one of the highest-performing gaming laptops on the market,” said HP.

The laptop is also relatively sleek, measuring 32.9mm thick and weighing 3.1kg.

HP said the Omen was engineered and designed for gamers, and features:

• Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 and 1070 GPUs.
• G-Sync display technology.
• Quad speakers with audio by Bang & Olufsen and HP Audio Boost.
• Mini Display Port with support for dual 2K or 4K output.
• 4K display resolution.
• VR-ready set-up.
• A 95W polymer battery.
