Internet Solutions to buy MWEB
MWEB has informed customers it has entered into an agreement for Internet Solutions to buy the company.
“Internet Solutions will acquire MWEB as a going concern. The transaction is subject to approval by the competition authorities and we expect this process to take between 2 and 4 months to conclude,” MWEB told clients via email.
“Your current service with MWEB will not be affected by this change.”
“Internet Solutions is firmly established as a leading provider of information, technology, and communication services – this partnership will give us an increased presence in the consumer segment of the market and allow us to grow our product and services offering,” stated the mail.
The companies said the cost of the deal is undisclosed at this stage.
