Crystal Mobile vs Vodacom – Data price comparison
Crystal Web has launched a range of mobile data packages that run on Vodacom’s network.
Mobile data is provided over Vodacom’s last-mile network and then breaks out to the Internet via Crystal Web.
The packages offer a month-to-month term, no out-of-bundle charges, and access to Vodacom’s 4G network.
As a launch promotion, Crystal Web is selling its packages at R1 for the first month. From there, its “normal fees” are up to 33% cheaper than standard mobile data rates.
As the comparison below shows, Crystal Web’s mobile data offering is priced to sit between Vodacom’s prepaid and contract tariffs – except for the 3GB package, which is the same price as Vodacom’s prepaid bundle.
