Anonymous supports #SaveSA protests – Video

Anonymous South Africa

A video on YouTube from a channel claiming affiliation to the hacker group Anonymous has pledged its support for the “Save South Africa” protests taking place today.

The #SaveSA marches taking place across South Africa are in objection to President Jacob Zuma’s recent cabinet reshuffle and other actions which have harmed the country.

This includes South Africa receiving a “junk” rating from ratings agency S&P Global.

The video, posted below, states: “This is a message of support to the citizens of South Africa. We have heard your cries. We have seen your pain, and we will not stand and watch.”

“No government should have the amount of power that yours has over you.”

It said President Jacob Zuma has failed the country and that Anonymous will conduct physical and online protests on 7 April.
