Google fixes burger emoji
Google has updated its hamburger emoji by moving the cheese from the bottom of the hamburger patty to above it.
The change followed a comment from Google CEO Sundar Pichai that fixing the hamburger emoji was a “top priority”.
“Will drop everything else we are doing and address on Monday, if folks can agree on the correct way to do this,” said Pichai.
The new hamburger emoji will feature in Android 8.1.
The company has also changed the emoji for Beer and Beers, and updated the Cheese emoji’s holes.
