Vox Telecom expands further
Vox Telecom, an AltX listed company that is aggressively expanding their traditional corporate business into the consumer space, has acquired Online Digital Solutions Pty (Ltd). Online Digital Solutions (ODS) is a Johannesburg based ISP providing IT solutions, consulting and broadband solutions to residential and business customers.
Vox Telecom CEO Douglas Reed says that the acquisition made sense not only because it expands the company’s client base, but also because of the technical and commercial expertise which were gained through ODS.
More good news for Vox Telecom is that the Competition Commission gave them the go ahead for their acquisition of Storm, a competing telecoms provider, which now vaults Vox into the position of market leader in the VoIP and Least Cost Routing markets.
Vox Telecom’s recent acquisition of ABSA Internet was also cleared by the Competition Commission recently, significantly boosting Vox’s market share in the residential Internet connectivity market.
