iBurst service disruption

iBurst said that an unidentified anomaly on the network in the Pretoria region resulted in degradation of the core network, further resulting in authentication problems for 40% of the Gauteng subscriber base.

The fault has been ring-fenced and the network has been stabilized for subscribers outside of Pretoria.

iBurst apologized for the inconvenience and assures subscribers that all available resources have been deployed to rectify the situation.

A further update will be issued when the problem has been solved.
