Apple MacBook Pro line gets refreshed

Various models in the Apple MacBook Pro range have undergone a hardware refresh, and now feature more powerful processors, graphics cards, and larger capacity hard drives.

Check out the changes below:

13-inch MacBook Pro

  • 2.3Ghz and 2.7GHz dual-core i5 processors increase to 2.4Ghz and 2.8Ghz dual-core i7 processors, respectively.
  • Hard-drive capacity also increases from 500GB to 750GB.

15-inch MacBook Pro

  • 2.0GHz and 2.2GHz quad-core i7 increases to 2.2Ghz and 2.4GHz i7 processors, respectively.
  • Lower-end machines also get a new AMD Radeon HD 6750M graphics card; higher-end machines get a 6770M model.
  • Build-to-order devices have the option of installing a 750GB hard drive.

17-inch MacBook Pro

  • Processor increases from a 2.2GHz quad-core i7 processor to a 2.4GHz unit
  • Option of a 2.5GHz processor also present on build-to-order items.
  • Machines get the new AMD Radeon HD 6770M graphics card.
  • Have 750GB hard drive as an optional upgrade.

Pricing remains the same on all models.
