Google helps you learn foreign languages

Google have launched Language Immersion,  a new extension which translates portions of text into a foreign language.

The add-on is different to that of Google Translate, as it focuses on helping users learn a different language.

Once installed, the extension translates random words in an article, which are then highlighted.

The words can be clicked, giving the pronunciation of the translated word.

The add-on supports 64 different languages and has an immersion level, where users can use a sliding scale to select how fluent they are in the language.

The extension is currently available for Google Chrome.
