Vodacom launches new Smart Plan
Along with its new deal run on Tuesday (7 August 2012), Vodacom has unveiled a new Smart Plan contract that includes data, voice minutes, and text messages.
Called Smart Standard 229, the new deal sits between the Smart Light bundle for R135 that has no anytime minutes, and Smart Standard which costs R390 per month.
Costing R229 per month, Smart Standard 229 includes the following:
- 150MB data;
- 150 SMSes;
- 75 anytime minutes;
- 20 More weekend minutes (only to other Vodacom subscribers);
- 20 promotional anytime minutes to other Vodacom users if contract is taken out before 6 September 2012.
Vodacom listed 9 different deals using this new package on its website, with the Motorola Razr Android smartphone available at the R229/month base price of the contract.
Other devices listed on the operator’s site, such as the HTC One S, One X, and Samsung Galaxy S3, all increase the monthly subscription of the contract.
