Former Liquid Telecom CEO appointed to Vodacom Business advisory board
Vodacom Business has appointed Reshaad Sha, the executive chairman of Sentiv and CEO of BriteGaze, and the former CEO of Liquid Telecom South Africa, to its Extraordinary Business Advisory Board.
Vodacom’s business telecommunications arm announced the appointment of three additional executives to the advisory board on Wednesday, which included Sha.
The company said the Extraordinary Business Advisory Board was a strategic initiative to support the digital transformation of its partners in the enterprise sector.
Vodacom Business explained that the “board serves as a crucial platform to empower organisations of all sizes to navigate complex challenges and realise their potential through technology.”
It comprises a curated group of respected experts across technology fields, including cloud, cybersecurity, IoT, AI, and digital transformation.
“Our Extraordinary Business Advisory Board has proven invaluable in engaging the most pressing issues facing South African enterprises today,” said Videsha Proothveerajh, the director of Vodacom Business.
“From guiding our customers through critical digital transformation initiatives to addressing the evolving landscape of cybersecurity threats and tackling the unique challenges facing SMEs.”
Vodacom Business appointed Sha, along with two other experts, to the Extraordinary Advisory Board. His career includes leading Liquid Telecom and SqwidNet.
He was also the Chief Strategy Officer and Executive Director at DFA, and served in director-level positions at global tech firms including Cisco, LogicaCMG, and Protek.
Sha’s appointment brings executive experience across the US, Africa, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia in telecommunications and digital innovation.
He holds an Executive MBA from UCT’s Graduate School of Business and is an Advanced Management graduate from Harvard Business School.
Sha was joined by Charlotte Kepadisa, the managing executive of Big Data, AI and RPA at Vodacom Group, where she has over 20 years of experience leading AI and digital transformation efforts in finance.
Vodacom Business appoints three experts to Extraordinary Business Advisory Board
Most recently, Kepadisa spent three years on a secondment to Safaricom PLC, a Vodafone Company in which Vodacom took a controlling interest for approximately R36 billion in December 2025.
At Safaricom, Kepadisa accelerated AI transformation and value realisation across the Kenyan telecom’s operations. She holds postgraduate degrees in Applied Mathematics and Mathematical Statistics.
She is also a certified Chief Digital Officer with an MIT certification, and she has an MBA from the University of Stellenbosch.
The final appointment to the advisory group is Vodacom Business’s Kgabo Seopa. He serves as the company’s managing executive of products and services.
Seopa has experience scaling high-growth technology portfolios across multiple countries and translating strategy into measurable commercial results.
Prior to his time at Vodacom Business, he held roles at Cisco, Nokia, SITA, Vodacom and Internet Solutions. He holds an MBA from the University of the Witwatersrand.
