Stuff magazine gets boost in SA

Stuff

Stuff is planning to go monthly next year, after a new publishing venture has taken over its South African contract with the Stuff license holder, Haymarket UK.

The new media venture will be headed by Gisele Wertheim Aymes – the owner and publishing editor of Longevity Media – and Sally Hudson.

“Stuff will continue to be everything you want to know about everything you need,” said Toby Shapshak, who has edited Stuff since it was launched in November 2007. Shapshak will be the publishing editor in the new organisation.

Stuff broke the 25,000 distribution mark this year, and has become an established brand in the local consumer technology magazine market.

Having been bi-monthly to date, Stuff will be published every month from May 2013. The company is also planning to establish an online publication soon.
