At the South African National Blood Service (SANBS), we see it in action every day through young blood donors who choose to turn solidarity into lifesaving impact.
Notably, 43.27% of our donor panel is made up of donors between the ages of 16 and 30.
This is a powerful reflection that today’s youth are not waiting for change — they are actively sustaining life and strengthening the health system through blood donation.
