Rood is the Chief Executive Officer at Sigfox South Africa and a top figure in the South African telecoms sector with over two decades of experience.
He joined Sigfox South Africa as its CEO in 2024.
Before this, he worked as a Managing Director at both Talking Telecom and Zoom Networks, serving at these companies for eight and ten years respectively.
Rood’s entry into the sector was as an Account Manager at Storm Telecom for a year, following which he moved to Definity Telecom, where he served as the General Manager for five years.
He holds an MBA from the Gordon Institute of Business Science.
