Watch the Pope online
The camera has been fitted in the gardens of Castel Gandolfo, about 30 kilometres southeast of Rome.
It joins five other webcams dotted around the Vatican City, which have proved popular with web surfers, Vatican newspaper the Osservatore Romano said.
The images can be viewed on the website of the Vatican City: www.vaticanstate.va
