Radio frequency spectrum fee hearings under way
The Independent Communications Authority of South Africa (ICASA) started public hearings on the draft radio frequency spectrum fee regulations yesterday.
The purpose of the regulations is to review the current fee structure applicable to the radio frequency spectrum.
The public hearings will continue until tomorrow, and involve all the major role-players including MTN, Vodacom, Cell C, Telkom and Neotel.
