New ADSL offerings: Uncapped weekends, unmetered uploads
Over the last few months consumers have benefitted from a slew of innovative and low cost ADSL offerings, and this trend does not seem to be abating.
Cybersmart and Sainet are the latest ISPs to extend their product offerings to bring more value to their subscribers.
Cybersmart officially launched their Weekender service, offering their ADSL subscribers more data over weekends. There are currently three Weekender packages:
- Weekender 1 which gives three times your cap (all speeds) for R29 per month
- Weekender 2 which gives five times your cap (all speeds) at R49 per month
- Weekender 3 which offers ten times your cap (all speeds) and uncapped (384 Kbps) for R99 per month
Sainet launch their latest Prepaid ADSL data bundles, offering subscribers non-expiring data at R89 for 2 GB (R44.50 per GB) and R149 for 4 GB (R37.25 per GB).
Sainet further released their ‘free upload ADSL’ service where all uploads are unmetered and uncapped as long as a subscriber has some ‘download cap’ left. Here a 5 GB account costs R249 per month while a 10 GB account costs R350 per month.
These new offerings from Sainet follow their recently launched split-billing and uncapped ADSL services.
