Higher ADSL upload speeds free

Telkom recently announced that it has embarked on a pilot project to test the increased upload speed of its fastest DSL 4 Mbps product.

The new upload speeds will be 640 Kbps, and users will be upgraded to the higher speeds free of charge pending the successful outcome of the trial.

The higher uplink speed trial is currently under way, but unlike the previous 4 Mbps downlink trial, not all users will form part of this pilot.

The pilot project is expected to be concluded by the end of March.
