New ADSL products from IS
Internet Solutions (IS) is continually rolling out new ADSL products to serve its growing customer base. Recent additions to the IS ADSL product range includes its traffic-based business ADSL fibre services which were launched a few months ago.
These services “have definitely stirred some excitement in the market specifically with regards to the 5GB and 10GB options,” said IS’s Alan Bacher. “The cheaper versions cater perfectly for the SMME market and we have found them particular popular among the smaller franchise chains throughout the country.”
Bacher also said that IS is planning some “exciting solutions in the next six months which should really appeal to the local market”.
These offerings include a “leased line and business ADSL combination using a Cisco 2800 router splitting traffic based on protocol”, “business ADSL and GSM failover and failback” and “multiple business ADSL using a Cisco 2800”.
The ADSL market is becoming increasingly competitive with various innovative offerings starting to emerge, including combined shaped and unshaped accounts and higher after-hours usage options.
Innovation is becoming an important facet of gaining market share in the broadband environment, and IS seems to be on top of their game when it comes to relevant business offerings.
