Verizon Business makes steady ADSL progress

Verizon’s ADSL offering is being distributed by an increasing number of Internet Service Providers in South Africa, and so far the feedback looks very positive.

“The general perception of the offering has been favourable and it is certainly competing well in the local market. Furthermore, we are confident that our product is one of the best in the market – it is designed to perform well and through experience it is living up to this expectation,” said Verizon.

Verizon – which currently has in excess of 1 000 distinct ADSL users – says that their international links allow them to draw from global expertise which they will use to improve their service offerings in South Africa.

“We are very fortunate in the fact that we are a multi-national organisation operating locally and, as such, have the opportunity to draw on our global expertise thus ensuring that we can offer the best world-class solutions in this country,” Verizon said.

The first tier ISP is further planning to expand its current ADSL product basket. “Currently, we are looking at various new ADSL products that allow for increased customer flexibility and choices,” Verizon concluded.
