Neotel NeoConnect comparison
Neotel recently launched its NeoConnect consumer offerings, with pricing ranging from R299 for its NeoConnect Lite 2.5GB service to R999 for an unlimited NeoConnect Prime bundle.
The pricing for its NeoConnect Prime bundles – promising peak speeds of up to 2.4Mbps – range from R399 a month for the 2.5GB offering to R999 for the unlimited Internet access package.
All the NeoConnect bundle prices include the price of the device, free voice minutes and SMSes and Internet usage.
While all of the services are linked to a 24-month contract, the company has said that consumers can cancel their contract at any stage and will only be held liable for the device cost. This “best of both worlds” approach makes it easier for new users to enter the market while still giving the freedom of a standard month-to-month Internet and voice contract.
“The NeoConnect offering we are introducing to the market brings the best of mobile and fixed communications together in a product that allows for high-speed internet, carrier-grade voice calls and SMS through one product,” said Mukul Sharma, executive head of Neotel’s Consumer Business Unit.
“We have incorporated global best practices into the design of this product, ensuring that while it remains relevant to the market, it is based on a first-in-world device – a unique solution that addresses the key pain points South African users have been highlighting for years.”
