Neotel punts consumer products
Neotel will be stepping out of the shadows next week as they launch their consumer marketing campaign which aims to let South Africa know that they are open for business.
The aim of the marketing campaign is twofold, to announce to key markets that the product is now available and secondly to increase the visibility of the second national operator.
According to CEO Ajay Pandel the company felt that it was, “Time that the people in South Africa see who and what we are.”
The advertising agency handling the account is TBWA\Hunt\Lascaris who teamed up with Framestore, a London based post-production company who handled the animation. Framestore’s work includes graphics for high-profile international movies such as; Harry Potter, The Matrix trilogy and the most recent Batman movie, The Dark Knight.
Pandey stated that it was important for Neotel to convey the message to South Africans that they are going to change the way things are done. “You’re always being told what you can’t do but we are here to tell South Africans what they can do.”
Neotel’s offerings are designed to provide users with more bandwidth than their competitors lending credence to their slogan of unlimited.
