Two new iStores open
Apple has grown its retail outlets with two new Apple Premium Resellers (APRs). iStore Canal Walk in Cape Town welcomed its first customers on Saturday and iStore Sandton City in Johannesburg will open its doors early December.
The opening of these two iStores will see APRs expand their retail footprint from ten to twelve stores countrywide. Being an Apple Premium Reseller, means that the store is a dedicated hub for Apple products, peripherals and add-on services such as advice, assistance and training.
According to Core Group the local distributor of Apple products, purchasing from an APR ensures peace of mind that the same local company will handle all your support needs, and any repairs that could arise during your warranty term.
“Staff will be on hand at all times to give advice and demonstrations, as well as to facilitate test drives of the products,” said RJ van Spaandonk, Executive Director of Core Group.
Free training seminars will be held at the iStores several times a week. These seminars will assist customers in understanding Apple hardware and software, and offer training for both beginners and more advanced Mac users.
These seminars range from a basic introduction to Snow Leopard and the Mac operating systems, to more advanced training on Pro applications.
