SA gets limited edition black Wii
Official local distributor of Nintendo products, Core Group, today announced that an all black version of the Wii console will be released in South Africa on the 20th of November.
The package is a limited edition bundled with a Wii remote, a Wii motion plus add on and a Nunchuck. It will also include the original Wii Sports pack as well as the enhanced Wii Sports Resort bundle.
A number of black accessories will be launched in conjunction including additional controllers.
The black Wii was unveiled in Japan earlier this year to a positive reception. It has since yielded strong sales results globally.
The Wii console is currently the most successful of its generation, having sold almost 50 million copies worldwide since its release in 2007.
