SABC tender case postponed
The postponement allowed for the two parties to consult further before advising the court on a new date for a hearing, the SABC reported.
Digital Horizons was asking the court to rule on a R400 million tender for outside broadcast vans awarded to Sony by the SABC.
The broadcaster reportedly said at a previous court appearance it needed the units for next year’s Fifa World Cup.
Fifa’s broadcasting agent was expected to tell the court it did not need the units and that there was no contract with the SABC.
