Yebo Radio making waves

Vodacom launched Yebo Radio on the 3rd of November last year in a drive to extend the mobile provider’s current product portfolio and create additional revenue streams.

Initially the radio station was not available country wide, but it has recently been extended to cover all Vodacom retail outlets and Vodacom Walk-in Customer Care Centres.

The company has further plans to provide access to their service through both mobile phones and the Internet.

“Yebo Radio has been designed to entertain Vodacom staff as well as customers shopping at Vodaworld, any of Vodacom’s retail outlets and Vodacom Walk-in Customer Care Centres. This service is destined to be streamed to cellphones in the future.” Vodacom said.

Yebo Radio is currently ‘making waves’ from 8am to 9pm, and it is headed up by the experienced radio campaigner Tom London who hailed from Radio 702.
