Top tech journalist moves on
Award winning journalist Belinda Anderson, who is well known for her insightful and comprehensive coverage of the South African business technology market, has left Finweek to join her husband in Australia.
Anderson has proven her mettle as one of the top journalists in the country having won various awards throughout her career, including the Telkom Electronic Journalist of the Year, Citadel Electronic Journalist of the Year and more recently the 2008 MyBroadband Business IT Journalist of the Year.
Anderson said that she is looking forward to the adventure of living abroad for a while and spending more time with her young son and newborn baby.
This resignation follows Ben Kelly’s departure from Finweek to join Ernst & Young as an analyst at the company’s Global Telecommunications Center Africa. Well known journalist and technology enthusiast Simon Dingle has taken over as technology writer at Finweek.
