New MSI graphics cards
MSI has launched R4870-T2D1G graphics cards for the game enthusiasts. They are to be distributed in southern Africa by broad-based ICT distributor, Pinnacle Micro, part of the JSE-listed Pinnacle Technology Holdings (PTH).
The R4870-T2DIG comes with 1G DDR5 memory which aims to enable users to enjoy the DirectX 10 high-capacity 3D games easily and smoothly.
This high-end level graphics card is based on the latest 2nd generation of 55nm GPU. Integrated with ATI PowerPlay power-saving technology, the MSI R4870-T2D1G is said to deliver twice the performance enhancement with the same wattage.
The graphics card also has the advanced UVD 2.0 video decoder core, a built-in HDCP key encryption – which supports Blu-Ray and HD DVD movie disc playback, the company adds.
