Eurocom launches quad-core notebook

Eurocom, a developer of highly personalised, high-performance notebook PCs and LCD PCs, has introduced the D900C Phantom-X Mobile Workstation powered by Intel's line of Quad Core 95W and FSB1333 E6x50 line of Core 2 Duo desktop processors.

According to Eurocom, Phantom-X provides workstation and/or server calibre performance, graphics capabilities, high performance storage with three physical Sata-300 hard drives and Raid 0/1/5, and powerful Intel FSB1333 Core 2 Duo or FSB1066 Quad Core processors for high-end computing wherever work takes place.

Said to feature modular VGA technology based on NVidia GeForce Go 7950 GTX GPUs, GeForce Go8700GT or NVidia Quadro FX1600M running in Single or Dual SLI (Scalable Link Interface) Video Technology mode and powered by Intel FSB1333 Core 2 Duo or FSB1066 Quad Core processor technology, the D900C Phantom-X also features 750GB storage with Raid 0/1/5, the company adds.

At the core of the D900C Phantom-X, users can choose currently between three different NVidia graphics cards: the NVidia GeForce Go 7950 GTX or Go 8700GT with 512MB of RAM for high-performance PC gaming, or the NVidia DX10-based Quadro FX1600M with 512MB of RAM for those looking for a high-performance workstation class performance, the company adds.
