New Alienware range and pricing in SA revealed
Pinnacle Micro today announced the availability of the new Alienware range of high performance desktop and notebook computers in South African. The range includes the Alienware Aurora and Aurora ALX desktops, and the Alienware M15x and M17x notebooks. Local resellers who deal with Pinnacle Micro can now place customer specific orders from the range.
The Alienware range features high-performance components, including factory overclocked, liquid-cooled Intel Core i7 Extreme Edition processors with Turbo Boost technology (up to 3.6Ghz); DirectX 11 multi-GPU graphics systems (nVidia SLI or ATI CrossFireX); dual triple-channel DDR3 1600Mhz memory; and RAID 1+0 or solid-state hard drives.
Entry level pricing are as follows:
- Alienware Aurora desktop: R9,500.00
- Alienware Aurora ALX desktop: R17,000.00
- Alienware M15x notebook: R11,500.00
- Alienware M17x notebook: R13,500.00
The Alienware Area 52 is still to become officially available. Each Alienware unit sold by Pinnacle Micro features a 1-year on-site, next business day warranty, which is extendable up to 3 years.
