The growth of P2P file sharing has grown considerably over the past few years. As a result a number of Torrent engines, clients and websites have grown with it, and today several torrent listing portals are among the most popular online destinations, attracting millions of unique visitors per month.
This is not to say that these websites have not experienced their share of controversy – founders of the largest Torrent portal online The Pirate Bay have had several run ins with the law.
