Mr Bean hacks Spanish EU presidency website
Hackers managed to break through the security of the website which briefly displayed an image of a surprised-looking Mr Bean saying “Hi there,” the daily said.
Mr Bean is played by comedian Rowan Atkinson.
The Spanish government has spent nearly 12 million euros (17 million dollars) on technical assistance and security for the EU presidency website, according to El Mundo.
Sources responsible for the website did not admit to Mr Bean having sneaked in, but admitted to having had technical problems and said they were modifying security aspects, according to the daily.
Spain holds the rotating EU presidency for the first six months of 2010.
