Snow Leopard update released
Apple released a large update to MacOS X Snow Leopard, bringing it to version 10.6.2. The update addresses a number of security issues and bugs, including the infamous glitch that caused user data to be deleted when using a guest account.
There are two versions of the update: a 479MB ‘combo’ patch that updates from version 10.6 and a 473MB patch that updates from version 10.6.1.

- An issue that causes Mail to quit unexpectedly when setting up an Exchange server
- Address Book becoming unresponsive when editing
- A problem adding images to contacts in the Address Book
- An issue that prevented files downloaded from the Internet from opening
- Safari plug-in reliability
- General reliability improvements for iWork, iLife, Aperture, Final Cut Studio, MobileMe, and iDisk
- An issue that caused data to be deleted when using a guest account
