Telkom fault reporting faulty

MyBroadband received information that the 10212 number – which is used to report faults – has been giving problems since early Monday morning.

When trying to contact the number around midday an unavailable ring tone was received nine out of ten times. When another Telkom help line was called for information they said that the number is working fine, and that the line is just very busy.

According to Telkom, “To report a faulty line phone 10212, free of charge, if you phone from a landline. From a cellular phone, normal cellular rates apply”.

In the case of problems with the 10212 number, people with a faulty line are left with no real alternative as email support can take days or even weeks to receive a response.
