New offering from Neotel

Neotel has announced the launch of NeoFlex Voice, its first SME product.  This offering, which is currently pending ICASA approval, has been launched in partnership with Samsung Networking, Neotel’s new channel partner.

According to Neotel NeoFlex Voice will reduce costs and improve the quality of service currently available to small businesses in South Africa, with minimal additional capital expenditure requirement.

The service consists of a CDMA device which connects to all new and most existing PBX systems, and can be used both for making and receiving calls.

“Voice quality is guaranteed as this runs on Neotel’s existing CDMA network,” Neotel said.  “As this is a wireless solution, there is no installation required and the service can be connected almost instantly.”

Samsung Networking will provide and maintain the terminal equipment.

“The SME market plays an important role in the South African economy.  With NeoFlex Voice, SMEs will benefit from Neotel’s excellent voice quality and low call rates.

In addition, as this service can be used anywhere in Neotel’s coverage area, SME’s can open new offices and relocate existing offices in a quick and hassle free manner without having to wait for new phone lines to be installed.” says Mukul Sharma, Head of the Consumer Business Unit at Neotel.

“With NeoFlex Voice, customers will be presented with a Service Level Agreement (SLA) from Samsung Networking which will ensure that they receive a professional and efficient service at all times,” says Sharma.

“Samsung Networking has 96 communications centres country-wide and a proven track record in the SME sector”.

Charles Enslin, Managing Director of Samsung Networking says that being appointed as a Neotel partner will enable them to offer customers a true alternative to what is currently available on the market.

“As the technology on offer is completely wireless, it means that any customers who have previously experienced problems due to cable theft, copper degradation and slow implementation times can rest assured that they are problems of the past,” he says.

“We are delighted that we have been chosen to work with Neotel to bring this unique solution to the market as we believe it will add great value to any small business,” he says.

NeoFlex Voice is the first service targeted specifically for SMEs, but Neotel said that more services are being planned and will be launched shortly.
