Icasa releases rules on interconnection
The Independent Communications Authority of South Africa (Icasa) yesterday issued the long-awaited interconnection regulations.
Icasa said the regulations focused on dispute resolutions, and the procedure for concluding an interconnection deal.
Interconnection rates are fees that Vodacom, MTN and Cell C charge each other to switch calls on each others’ network.
