Free broadband connections to test SEACOM

SEACOM recently announced that it will host a SEACOM Broadband Experience exhibition at the Nelson Mandela Square in Sandton on 14 to 18 October.  The event will include exhibitions by Neotel, Cisco, Microsoft, Internet Solutions, SEACOM and Dimension Data.

At the week-long public exhibition visitors will be able to experience the SEACOM service first hand through free broadband connections which users can test.  There will be 155 Mbps of bandwidth collectively for the event which will include international bandwidth provisioning by SEACOM.

Neotel says that the aim of the event is for consumers to ‘experience broadband’.  “The event will highlight possibilities unleashed by the availability of bandwidth,” Neotel said.
