Telkom cable theft cuts off hospital
“No calls are possible to and from Phekolong due to this,” said Free State health spokeswoman Gela Van Heerden.
She said technicians were fixing the problem but Telkom had indicated that it might take several days due to the length of cable that was stolen.
Van Heerden said anybody who needed information from Phekolong should contact the hospital management on their mobile phones.
They are chief executive officer T E Makume on 083-294-6686, the head of nursing T van der Merwe on 073-336-3559 and head of administration P Radebe on 072-747-2318.
