iBurst launches ‘free month’ promotion
iBurst says that South Africans signing 24-month iBurst wireless broadband contracts during December 2007 will not be required to pay subscription fees for January 2008.
“iBurst’s festive season promotion is expected to offer some relief to consumers who often find themselves cash-strapped immediately after the holiday season,” said Thami Mtshali, CEO of iBurst.
Upon signing up, new subscribers will be required to pay the standard activation fee of R99-00, as well as the pro-rata subscription fee for the month of December. Normal rates will apply as of 01 February 2008.
“The free January subscription will help our subscribers to stretch their budgets that much further,” added Mr Mtshali.
