In 2005 Web Africa stunned the ADSL market when it launched its ‘30GB for R199’ special on MyBroadband. In early 2006 Telkom – which was the wholesale provider of these accounts – put an end to the 30GB offer and since then no ADSL service provider in the South Africa could match this pricing. That is until now.
Web Africa is now offering long time MyBroadband members a ‘R199 for 30GB’ service again. “We are doing this in remembrance of a special we ran five years ago where we set industry standards and charged R199 for 30GB of data. Many MyBB forum users have requested we bring this special back, so here it is!” said Web Africa.
This offer is however only available to MyBroadband members who registered before March 2009 and have made at least 20 posts in the MyBroadband forums. There are also only 100 accounts available as Web Africa allocated 3 TB of ADSL data for this promotion.
Good news for the first 100 MyBroadband members who qualify and sign up for this offer is that the special price of R199 for 30GB will apply for as long as the account is active.
