Uncapped, unshaped business ADSL for R489
OpenWeb recently launched their new 384k uncapped, unshaped business ADSL service priced at R489 per month. This service includes 5 static IP addresses and a rented router, and bandwidth is provisioned on Internet Solutions’ fibre backbone.
According to OpenWeb’s Keoma Wright the uncapped business accounts are only available on a 12 month contract, and come with a once off setup fee of R929. This account has no limits or thresholds.
More fresh ADSL offerings launched
Other ISPs have also launched new ADSL offerings, including Redwill ISP and SAOL.
Redwill ISP joined numerous other service providers in starting to sell Internet Solutions’ uncapped consumer ADSL accounts. Redwill priced its 384 Kbps offering at R195 per month while its 512 Kbps costs R279 per month and its 4096 Mbps R489 per month.
Redwill further announced that it has extended it’s R24 per GB capped ADSL offering until end of April 2010.
Internet Solutions’ own retail ISPs Plugg has also launched an uncapped consumer offering at R199 per month for a 384 Kbps service and R499 for a 4 Mbps offering.
SAOL in turn has launched their bundled ADSL services which include ADSL access (aka ADSL line rental) and 1 GB of data at the following prices:
- 384 Kbps line: R139 for the first 6 months, R152 thereafter
- 512 Kbps line: R299 for the first 6 months, R325 thereafter
- 4 Mbps line: R399 for the first 6 months, R415 thereafter
SAOL is offering unshaped top-up bandwidth at R29 per GB.
