Uncapped ADSL upgrade for R99
Many consumers have reported slow speeds and heavy shaping on their uncapped ADSL accounts, and Openweb is planning to improve service levels on their consumer uncapped offerings for R99 per month.
Openweb yesterday launched their ‘Gold Uncapped ADSL upgrade’, allowing their 384 Kbps and 512 Kbps uncapped ADSL subscribers to upgrade their accounts from standard shaped access to semi-unshaped access with a lower contention ratio and hence a better overall performance.
The new Gold Uncapped ADSL upgrade costs R99 per month, and for an extra R139 per month subscribers will also get their own static IP address.
Openweb’s consumer uncapped ADSL accounts are priced at R219 for a 384 Kbps service and R299 for a 512 Kbps offering.
“The upgrade allows for a superior ADSL experience,” says Keoma Wright, Founder of OpenWeb.co.za. “Our Gold packages were created especially for folks who require good speeds throughout the day.”
