Cheapest uncapped ADSL services revealed

The April 2010 version of the Broadband Bible was released recently, comparing ADSL prices from most of South Africa’s prominent Internet Service Providers (ISPs).

The latest version of the Broadband Bible compares the pricing of the following ADSL offerings: uncapped, cheapest plans with a 384 ADSL line, cheapest plans with a 512K ADSL line, cheapest plans with a 1024K ADSL line, cheapest unshaped plans, with no line, cheapest shaped plans, with no line and cheapest local bandwidth only.

One of the sections likely to enjoy a great deal of attention is the uncapped ADSL portion. 

Over the last few weeks numerous affordable uncapped ADSL offerings were launched and according to the April 2010 Broadband Bible the following offerings are the most affordable:

Since the launch of the April 2010 Broadband Bible a few other ISPs have launched services which rival the offerings listed in the table above. 

One of these ISPs is TRL Technologies.  They are selling standard IS based shaped 384 Kbps uncapped ADSL accounts at R180 per month, R19 less than the standard R199 for these accounts.  The price for their 512 Kbps uncapped ADSL service is R279 per month while a 4 Mbps service costs R489 per month.
