Bundled uncapped ADSL pricing comparison
Affordable uncapped ADSL has dominated headlines since MWEB shook up the market with their uncapped offerings starting from as low as R219 per month.
Since then numerous service providers have followed suit with prices dropping as low as R159 per month for a 384 Kbps uncapped account.
Many consumers however forget about the total cost of an ADSL service which consists of analogue line rental (R131 per month), ADSL access (ranging between R 152 and R413 per month depending on speed) and ADSL ISP charges.
While the cost of analogue line rental – which must be paid directly to Telkom each month – is not negotiable, many ‘uncapped’ ISPs have launched one-price ADSL offerings where an uncapped ADSL account is bundled with ADSL access.
