4 day uncapped ADSL for R99
Over the last few months consumers have enjoyed a slew of innovative and affordable ADSL offerings, and this trend shows no signs of abating.
The latest service provider to tempt ADSL subscribers with an unusual yet affordable product is Axxess. It launched its ‘May Month-end Madness’ service recently, offering subscribers an uncapped ADSL Express+ 384kbps account for the remainder of May 2010 for R99.
“The pricing will revert back to its normal R999 on 1st June 2010. If you do not want to continue with this service after 31 May 2010, you can set the account to expire from your control panel,” Axxess says on its website.
With an Uncapped Express+ account subscribers have a maximum speed of 384 Kbps during business hours, but will get full line speed (hence up to 4 Mbps) after 8pm on weekdays and over weekends.
This service will most likely appeal to 4 Mbps ADSL subscribers who typically use a capped account, but have a few large downloads pending which they would like to complete when they have bandwidth to burn.
