MWEB slashes bonded ADSL prices
Earlier this year MWEB shook up the local internet market by launching a range of uncapped ADSL packages for consumers and businesses at very competitive prices.
MWEB Business has now done the same in the bonded ADSL market by offering bonded ADSL services at up to 70% cheaper than the nearest comparable offering on the market.
MWEB’s bonded ADSL service entails combining up to four ADSL lines into a single router that creates a single channel, high speed link, effectively multiplying the speed of each line by the number of bonded lines.
It provides very high speed broadband thus allowing for high upload and download speeds at an affordable price. MWEB Business’s Bonded ADSL offering allows customers to choose from a variety of packages, including capped and uncapped options. All products include five usable static IP addresses.

MWEB’s Bonded ADSL service includes the free use of a Cisco 2811 router while using the bonded ADSL service which will be remotely managed by MWEB Business’s technical support team.
Joubert continues, “Bonded ADSL should be a requisite for businesses wanting high speed connectivity, particularly for companies that regularly transfer large files, such as video and audio files and high-resolution images. The high-priced barriers to entry are longer an issue,” he says.
According to MWEB it has invested significantly in its network to produce a reliable network that has been engineered to world-class standards.
MWEB said that it has recently achieved Tier-1 ISP status with the migration of its customers to its own IPC network, thereby limiting its reliance on other Tier-1 providers for its bandwidth needs.
