Afrihost is making changes to its capped ADSL packages, which should go down well with its subscribers.
The company is making the Double Data ADSL packages permanent, which means the current “X + X” packages will now become permanent “2X” packages.
For example, current 50GB + 50GB subscribers will in future enjoy a permanent 100GB subscription.
“There is now no danger of losing those extra GBs our clients have got used to since March 2014,” said Afrihost CEO Gian Visser.
Afrihost Plus+ subscribers will also benefit, and will be able to assign their Double Data benefit to capped DSL product and receive 100% more data.
For example, if a 100GB for R199 subscriber has an Afrihost Plus+ Double Data benefit assigned to Capped DSL, they will receive 100GB plus 100GB extra.
“So for a total of R298 (Afrihost Plus+ is R99pm) you can get 200GB of data, and also enjoy the other benefits like 500MB free Mobile Data, 2-for-1 Topups on both DSL and Mobile Data, and Simfy All Access music streaming.
These changes will reflect on the Afrihost website from 12 November. Clients will automatically see the change in their packages from 1 December 2015.
“Clients eligible for Afrihost Plus+ Double Data will also see their data allocations increased from the same date.”
