Uncapped 4 Mbps ADSL for R249; capped at R9.50/GB
Afrihost is celebrating its tenth birthday by offering clients a 50% discount on all new subscriptions.
The 50% discount applies to all of Afrihost’s ADSL products – both capped and uncapped accounts – their shared hosting services and their domain products.
The 50% discounts will run for the rest of the year, essentially halving the price of ADSL services from Afrihost for the next three months.
The following rates will therefore apply for Afrihost’s ADSL products for signups during the promotional period and include:
- Uncapped 384 Kbps account for R98.50 per month (usually R197)
- Uncapped 512 Kbps account for R148.50 per month (usually R297)
- Uncapped 4 Mbps account for R248.50 per month (usually R497)
- 1 GB capped ADSL data for R14.50 (usually R29)
- 10 GB capped ADSL data for R95 (usually R190)
- 50 GB capped ADSL data for R237.50 (usually R475)
This 50% discount offer from Afrihost is valid from 20 September 2010 until 30 September 2010.
Openweb cuts uncapped ADSL prices
Openweb also reduced some of their ADSL rates – albeit not as significantly as Afrihost.
The price of Openweb’s 384 Kbps Gold Uncapped ADSL accounts have been reduced from R318 to R248 while the cost of their 512 Kbps Gold Uncapped ADSL accounts were cut from R398 to R339.
Openweb is further selling their 384 Kbps uncapped, unshaped Gold ADSL accounts for R499 instead of the normal price of R599.
