Afrihost has announced that all of the data used between midnight and 18:00 each day on its capped ADSL accounts will be free [Afrihost Free-Time details here].
That means that Afrihost’s capped ADSL accounts will offer free data for 18 hours a day – from 00:00 to 18:00.
Dubbed Free-Time, the service is automatically enabled on all Afrihost’s capped DSL packages, including its DSL bundles.
“It’s the first time anyone in South Africa has given you unlimited free data during ‘prime time’. This is bandwidth done right,” Afrihost said.
Here are some of the details of the Afrihost Free-Time offer:
- Free‑Time (free unlimited internet) is available between midnight and 6pm every day.
- A positive data balance is required to qualify for Free‑Time. Once your cap is depleted you will not be able to access the internet, unless you have soft‑capping through Afrihost Plus+, or you top up.
- All monthly capped DSL Packages, including bundles, will receive Free‑Time until 30 November 2016, at which point the offer will be revised or extended.
Afrihost highlighted that it reserves the right to stop offering Free-Time to new signups if they see or project that its network is getting close to being congested and slow.
