More free ADSL data from Afrihost coming
Afrihost became well known for their affordable capped ADSL products since they slashed the price of their ADSL data bundles from R57 per GB to R29 per GB in September 2009.
Since then the company has enjoyed strong growth in the ADSL market, and to complement its current offerings the company started to offer new and existing subscribers free 1GB ADSL accounts.
According to Afrihost CEO Gian Visser the uptake of their free GB offer has been tremendous. “It’s amazing – we’ve given away over 13,000 Free GBs at the moment and whenever we open it they are snapped up. This shows clearly that there is still a strong demand for ADSL services, said Visser.
Good news for ADSL users is that Afrihost will repeat their Free 1GB ADSL account special on Thursday next week, 10 February 2011.
In an email sent to their users the company announced that “We’ll be opening the free 1GB special offer up to you and the other ‘Early Birds’ at 09h00 Thursday morning and then making them available (if any are left) to the general public at 12h00.”
